About Donald Lawrence Construction...
Since we started building in the early 1980's, we've built over 3,000 homes in the city of Visalia and the surrounding area of Tulare and Kings Counties.
We set ourselves apart from other construction companies by maintaining a tight in-house crew that is equipped for each job. Minimizing the use of sub contractors has made us more united, mobile, and flexible to work on a variety of projects.
The trades that we do sub-out are handled by local contractors whom we've built strong relationships with - many of which are now in their second and third generations of family owned businesses since we started working with them.
At Donald Lawrence Construction Company (DLC), our goal has always been to build homes a step above the normal single family home. Our motto, "It's different here." has always rung true for our unique company and the homes we build.

Jorge joined our company as a helper for the landscape cleanup crew. He has grown with our company over the years and currently oversees the construction of our eastern division projects and developments including Sierra Woods and Walnut Wood Estates.

Profile: Shawn keeps our warehouse stocked and organized. He maintains the Donald Lawrence Construction Company's fleet of vehicles and equipment. His years of experience in auto mechanics and welding save the company thousands of dollars in costly repairs. Shawn has been working with Donald Lawrence Construction for 7 years.
Our 10,000 square foot warehouse is well organized for storage of construction materials bought in bulk, minimizing wait times for deliveries and material orders. This facilitates lower prices, larger profit margins, and fast access to warranty repair supplies.
Customer Service
Greg Norton is our Customer Service Supervisor. He responds to calls regarding warranty issues. Greg offers service with a warm smile, and will usually handle warranty repairs himself. He's been with Donald Lawrence Construction since 2003.
Concrete Crew
While we don't have a quarry or mixing plant, our concrete crew is well equipped to do the job. We have our own skid-steer loaders and Bobcat for leveling and earth moving. Our concrete guys do it all from beginning to finishing. No rental equipment on this jobsite!
Landscaping
We have an experienced team of landscapers who work quickly and efficiently. They are equipped to do every step of the job. The Ditch-witch trencher makes quick work of sprinkler installations. A Bobcat tractor enables dirt work and mounding. These guys have the knowledge, experience, and tools to make our houses into homes!
Painting Crew
Our painters have over 40 combined years as employees of Donald Lawrence Construction Company. They enjoy what they do and have high standards of craftsmanship. They take pride in putting the finishing touches on each new home produced by DLC.
